ok, so believe it or not i am actually a fan of the darker side of 'tings. i know i usually rock out the hip-hop stylings but im generally interested in all types of culture and fashions - and when goth girls get it right they really get it right. and a little bit of darkness every now and then never hurt any body.
ive been meaning to do a piece like this for a while, just a straight up simple portrait so as im without all my fancy new G5 and photoshop CS i figured id do this now. also i really didn't want to do the usual horribly over-dramatic, black on white skin with blood everywhere style that everybody does so i thought id try some colours you don't get so much. the girl is base around a few different ppl ive seen when im out on my drawing missions in the city, so if you live in manchester and you hang around Urbis then theres probably some of you in here  *as some know im working on a weird ass monitor for the time being which screws up my brightness contrast so i may edit this lots when im back to normal. i might also add some heavy texture but we'll see how that goes* and im out... |
